Stretch Marks & Scar Removal Treatment - The Treatment
The treatment is performed by one of our specialist nurse practitioners and uses a fractional laser technique. The area may first be treated with a special cream to numb the area and make the treatment more comfortable.
The treatment takes approximately 30 minutes (the time will depend on the size of the area being treated). We recommend four weeks between treatments. Many patients notice an improvement after only one treatment but for most effective results research shows 4 treatments is optimum.
After the treatment, the area is initially red and swollen. This will reduce over approximately 7 days and the stretch mark or scar reduces in appearance.
