The effective non surgical proceedure which can be performed in our Dublin Clinic improves the appearance and health of your skin. Using a low concentration of chemical trichlororoacetic acid (TCA) mixed with a special blue base the Obagi Blue Peel allows the docor to regulate the depth of the peel and remove surface layers of aged and damaged skin. These dead cells are replaced by healthier ones, allowing the skin's own clarity and tightness to resurface. The proceedure is performed by a doctor, who has specialised training and experience with this highly effective peel.
Agera Skin Peels - The Treatment
Our skin peels are non-glycolic so they do not require pre prepping of the skin. Our skin peels are pain free, non-irritating and doesn't cause your skin to shred or redness. Our skin peels are unique because they work deep within the skin to stimulate the production of collagen and elastin and encourage cell renewal.
Your skin is thoroughly washed with a mild cleanser, a prepping solution is then applied to the skin. The peel is applied evenly to the skin by your nurse. Whilst the peel dries the skin is kept comfortable with a fan, a 2nd layer may be applied at this stage. Then, a layer of wet gauze is placed over the skin and the peel is activated by the application of cold water. The Gauze is removed and the appropriate serum/recovery cream is applied to you skin. The treatment takes 30 minutes and 45 minutes if you are having the Medial Microdermabrasion as you can combine this treatment in the same day
