Acne Skincare Range
The Harley Medical Group has a range of specific skincare treatment products for Acne which have been medically proven to penetrate and stimulate the skin for rapid, visible results.
The Acne skincare programme is available at our Dublin clinic and cost €105.
This includes:
- Ultra mild cleanser
- Oxy-Infusion cream (Buy separately for €30)
- Anti bacterial peptide cream (Buy separately for €25)
- Suncream - SPF 25
The Oxy-Infusion cream is a stabilised 6% hydrogen peroxide formula bacterial properties. It is recommended that it is applied to the individual pimples. Hydrogen peroxide helps to kill bacteria that cause acne because they are anaerobic and hydrogen peroxide releases oxygen into the skin.
The Anti bacterial peptide cream has been specifically designed to combat the bacteria that are responsible for the acne process. The combination of Lysozyme and Stimulysin is a powerful antibacteria effect. The gel is oil free and formulated to dry into an invisible barrier moments after application. It acts as a barrier to help seal in moisture and protect. This cream is recommend in conjuction with the Oxy-Infusion cream.
With these creams, it is also effective to treat acne by Aesthera PPx Laser. This is the only laser treatment which has been approved by the FDA (Food & Drug Administration) for the treatment of comedonal acne (blackheads & whiteheads), which is otherwise a difficult condition to treat.
Aesthera PPx/Isolaz Treatment for Acne
Requiring no pre-treatment with local anaesthetics or numbing creams, the Aesthera PPx/Isolax laser works by clearing pores and combining the proven therapeutic qualities of light to treat the following types of acne:
Mild to moderate acne
Pustular acne
Comedonal acne (blackheads & whiteheads)
Mild to moderate inflammatory acne
Clinical studies have shown that most patients experience a visible improvement of their skin between 24-48 hours after treatment, with the majority experiencing a much greater clearance of acne compared to the use of other lasers, creams and pills. A treatment course is recommended for optimum results, this is usually 4 - 6 treatments. The acne treatment programme is available at our clinics for €1233.
