The Harley Medical Group offers the Aesthera PPx / Isolaz laser treatment at its Dublin clinic, to those patients who are suffering from acne. This laser treatment is the only one to have been approved by the FDA (Food & Drug Administration) for use on the four different types of acne: mild acne, inflammatory acne, comedonal acne, and pustular acne.

Clinical studies show that the recommended four to six Aesthera PPx / Isolaz acne laser treatments are more effective than the use of other laser treatments, medication, and creams, when treating the majority of patients. Most patients can expect to enjoy visibly clearer skin occurring within 24 to 48 hours of their treatment.

The procedure for Aesthera PPx Laser Treatment

Aesthera PPx laser treatment is quick and virtually pain-free, requiring no pre-treatment with numbing creams or local anaesthetic injections. The treatment works by using the therapeutic qualities of light to clear the pores and help reduce the appearance of all four types of acne skin.

Patients report a feeling of warmth as the skin is drawn into the tip of the Aesthera PPx laser treatment device. A gentle light energy is then applied to the area through the device before your skin is released and allowed to return gently to its natural position. This is then repeated on the other acne-affected areas of skin.

Obagi Blue Skin Peel

The Obagi Blue Skin Peel is the latest treatment to be approved by the FDA (Food & Drug Administration) to help rid the skin of acne scars, blemishes, redness, uneven pigmentation, and sun damage, making it perfect for those looking to rejuvenate their skin and improve their overall appearance.
