Recovery after Platysmaplasty Procedure
Following the operation you will have a dressing in place which will need to be kept dry for 2 weeks. There will be some bruising and soreness. The incisions are in the hairline and around the ears so are discreet. The normal healing process for an incision is approximately one year.
Recovery time from Platysmaplasty surgery depends on the individual however most patients are able to go back to work after a couple weeks.
